ECRO 2027

ECRO returns to Sweden: the 37th Annual Meeting of the European Chemoreception Research Organization will be held in Stockholm, 14–17 September 2027, at the Karolinska Institutet. Four days of keynotes, symposia, exhibitions by companies and perfumers, and posters. The extensive scientific program will be framed by two evenings in landmark Stockholm settings: a welcome reception on the 14th of September at Stockholm City Hall in the room in which the Nobel banquet is held each December, and a gala dinner at the Vasa Museum on 16 September, dining beside the great warship that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 and was raised, astonishingly intact, three centuries later. Mark the dates; the calls for symposia and abstracts will open here in the coming months.

The programme for ECRO2027

The scientific program runs over four days, 14–17 September 2027. Daily keynote lectures anchor the schedule, with two parallel symposia in the sessions between keynotes and poster sessions.

The meeting opens on the afternoon of 14 September with registration and an opening keynote, followed by the welcome reception at Stockholm City Hall. Keynote speakers will be announced on this page in late 2026, and the full program will follow the abstract review in spring 2027.
